Our Accreditations

At Dortech Architectural Systems Ltd, our accreditations demonstrate our commitment to safety, compliance, quality, competence and industry best practice across every project we deliver.

CHAS

CHAS Accreditation

Health & Safety
CHAS is a health and safety accreditation scheme for the construction industry, and often acts as a type of pre-qualification during the tender process. The purpose of CHAS is to help both buyers and suppliers in the assessment of health and safety competence.
CL

Constructionline Accreditation

Pre-Qualification
Constructionline is a Government run scheme. Initially the Constructionline scheme was developed by government bodies; the Constructionline scheme is now available for use by any public and private sector organisation as an aid when shortlisting Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants who apply to work for them.
CSCS

CSCS Certification

Competency
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.

The scheme maintains a comprehensive database of people working in construction who have achieved — or are actively working towards — a recognised, construction-related qualification.

This ensures a safer, more competent workforce on every project.
SC

SafeContractor Accreditation

SSIP
SafeContractor is an SSIP-accredited health, safety and ethical vetting scheme. SafeContractor collects and verifies key details across health and safety, financial stability, ethical practices, and specific operational areas such as permits for working at height or handling hazardous materials.

Achieving SafeContractor accreditation demonstrates to clients and potential customers that an organisation meets recognised safety and compliance standards.
SBD

Secured by Design Certification

Security
Secured by Design (SBD) is a UK Police initiative that accredits products meeting stringent security standards aimed at reducing crime.

When a door or window carries SBD certification, it means the product has been specifically designed and manufactured to resist forced entry attempts.

SBD-approved products undergo rigorous testing to ensure they are robust, durable and capable of preventing or significantly reducing the likelihood of a break-in.
QM

Exova BM TRADA Q-Mark

Product Certification
Exova BM TRADA Q-Mark is recognised as one of the most rigorous and credible certification schemes for construction products.

Q-Mark certification is widely trusted by regulatory authorities, industry bodies and home warranty providers such as the NHBC (National House Building Council).

It is relied upon by leading construction companies and manufacturers across the world to demonstrate that their products meet proven standards of quality, performance and reliability.
AS

Assure Certification

Competent Persons Scheme
Assure is an official, UKAS-accredited Competent Persons Scheme authorised by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).

The scheme covers the replacement and installation of:
  • Windows
  • Roof windows
  • Roof lights
  • External doors
across England and Wales.
Assure certification provides customers and clients with confidence that installations are carried out by trained, assessed and compliant professionals.
CAB

Council for Aluminium in Building

Industry Body
The Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) works to support and promote the interests of the architectural aluminium industry.

CAB encourages the increased use of aluminium products within architecture and across the wider construction sector, highlighting the material’s sustainability, performance and long-term benefits.

Membership demonstrates a commitment to best practice, industry collaboration and the continual improvement of aluminium building systems.
CWCT

Centre for Window & Cladding Technology

Facade Engineering
The Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) is one of the leading authorities in building envelope and glazing technology.

CWCT provides industry-leading training, technical publications and expert guidance for professionals working in façade engineering, design and installation.

As a respected body within the construction industry, CWCT supports high standards of performance, safety and innovation in window, curtain walling and cladding systems.
