Dortech Architectural Systems Ltd is excited to provide an in-depth update on our ongoing project at Halifax Bus Station, which we are undertaking for Willmott Dixon NE, one of the UK’s leading construction and property services companies. Willmott Dixon has been at the forefront of construction for over 160 years and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality, sustainable projects across a range of sectors, from education and healthcare to commercial and residential.

As we previously shared, our team has been working closely with Willmott Dixon NE to deliver a high-quality commercial glazing solution for the bus station. The project incorporates over 1,500m2 of commercial glazing, including curtain walling, aluminium windows, and entrance doors.

To achieve the desired outcome, Dortech selected aluminium glazing systems from our long-standing partner, Technal (part of the Hydro Group). This was an important decision for us, as we have worked with Technal for many years and have always been impressed with the quality and performance of their products. By utilising Technal’s innovative glazing solutions, we were able to achieve a high level of thermal efficiency, as well as a sleek, modern look that complemented the design of the bus station.

One of the key challenges we faced during the project was ensuring that the glazing solution met the complex technical specifications required for the bus station. With our extensive experience in the commercial glazing industry, our team was able to work closely with Willmott Dixon NE to develop a customised solution that met their specific needs.

As a result, we are proud to report that the project is progressing well and we are making great strides towards completion. We have been working diligently to ensure that every aspect of the project is executed with the utmost precision and attention to detail.

Moreover, this project marks a significant milestone for Dortech, as we have now delivered over £20 million worth of commercial glazing on Willmott Dixon projects. This is a testament to the strength of our relationship with Willmott Dixon and the quality of our work.

At Dortech, we greatly value our partnership with Willmott Dixon. Their commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with our own, and we are proud to have worked with them on so many successful projects over the years. Our ongoing partnership with Willmott Dixon NE is a testament to the strength of our relationship and the quality of our work.

As our Managing Director, Paul Trueman, has said, “We are honored to have contributed to so many of their successful projects and look forward to many more in the future.” This sentiment is shared by the entire Dortech team, and we are excited to continue working alongside Willmott Dixon NE on the Halifax Bus Station project.

The Halifax Bus Station project has been a significant undertaking for Dortech, and we are proud of the progress we have made thus far. By utilising innovative glazing solutions from our long-standing partner, Technal, we have been able to develop a customised solution that meets the complex technical specifications required for the project.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Willmott Dixon NE, one of the UK’s leading construction and property services companies, and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership in the future.
