Dortech Architectural Systems Ltd were delighted to be selected by BAM Construction to deliver the full architectural glazing package for the impressive Higham Lane Academy North development in Nuneaton. This exciting project reflects both companies’ shared commitment to creating high-quality, sustainable, and inspiring educational environments that enhance student wellbeing and performance.
With a contract value exceeding £800,000, Dortech was responsible for the design, manufacture, and installation of more than 1,000m² of high-performance aluminium glazing. The façade design incorporated Technal glazing systems — part of the Hydro Group — chosen for their exceptional thermal performance, strength, and aesthetic versatility.
The glazing package featured a seamless combination of curtain walling, aluminium windows, entrance and exit doors, architectural pressings, and Saint-Gobain heat-soaked toughened glass, all integrated to deliver an energy-efficient, durable, and visually striking building envelope.
This project represents yet another successful collaboration between Dortech and BAM Construction, built on over two decades of partnership and trust. Through precise coordination, technical expertise, and a shared focus on quality, Dortech helped ensure the Higham Lane Academy North facility was delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest possible standard — creating a modern, light-filled space designed to inspire future generations.
