Capless Glass Façades
TECHNAL TENTAL Smooth Finish aspect offers two capless façade solutions designed to maximise transparency and create a clean, modern external appearance.
The Structural Silicone Glazing option reveals only the silicone joints from the outside, providing a refined appearance with minimal visible aluminium.
The Structural Glazing option removes both visible aluminium and silicone externally, creating an uninterrupted glass surface for a highly seamless architectural finish.
Structural Silicone Glazing
Structural Silicone Glazing provides a sleek, capless curtain wall appearance where only the silicone joint is visible externally.
TECHNAL states that this solution supports flat and faceted designs up to ±5°, with glazing bonded using silicone and panels up to 250kg.
It is particularly suited to projects where the design intent is to minimise visible aluminium while retaining a refined joint expression.
Structural Glazing
Structural Glazing creates an even cleaner glass surface, eliminating both visible aluminium and silicone externally for a seamless façade effect.
TECHNAL states that Structural Glazing uses concealed toggles and can accommodate glazing up to 68mm, supporting high insulation and a refined aluminium-free external appearance.
This option supports flat and faceted façade designs up to +10°.

Carbon-Conscious Façade System
TENTAL Smooth Finish aspect integrates at least 75% recycled content and is 95% recyclable, supporting circular façade design and lower-carbon specifications.
TECHNAL references Hydro CIRCAL aluminium, which contains at least 75% end-of-life aluminium and achieves a CO2 footprint of 1.9kg CO2e per kg of aluminium.
This gives architects, main contractors and clients a façade option that combines design quality, technical performance and sustainability.
