Following successful completion of the Manchester Waters Block C scheme, Vermont Construction have shown their confidence in Dortech Architectural systems by appointing them to deliver the glazing package on the £50 million transformation of Farnworth market precinct into a residential development.
The project involves replacing a 1960s shopping precinct with a new neighbourhood with nearly 100 homes and shops built around a new public square and flexible indoor community space.
Dortech have been tasked with achieving a low U but at the same time delivering a relatively high solar gain together with the usual acoustic challenges faced for town centre residential projects.
Dortech are delighted to be working with Vermont Construction again.
