Designed by architects, The Fairhurst Design Group and delivered by Main Contractos, BAM Construction, the MIF Building at the University of Liverpool incorporates over 3,000m2 of glazing; designed, manufactured and installed by Dortech Architectural Systems Ltd. The project boasts a 350m2 glazed rooflight with over 100 glass units. Dortechs team managed to glaze this within just one day!
During the running of the project, Dortech performance and Safety were monitored and scored by main contractors BAM Construction, who awarded Dortech the highest safety score in the entire supply chain. Dortechs NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety Officer, Karyn Jones was absolutely delighted with the outcome and stated:
“It’s nice when our performance is acknowledged in this way. We are not always the cheapest in the market, but we believe our attention to detail in respect to health, safety and quality really sets us apart from the competition. As ever, our lads worked really well with BAM on this project and built up an excellent, reciprocal relationship.
