Dortech has recently completed glazing works to the new Oldham UTC. The contract was awarded to Dortech by Willmott Dixon and was designed by architects Blue Sky Design Services.
Dortechs work entailed the design, manufacture and installation of visible grid curtain wall, dual pitch rooflights with mechanically actuated opening vents, aluminium windows and entrance doors.
The building design was complemented with colourised vertical brise soleil attached to the curtain wall mullions.
The project incorporated over 700m2 of glazing.
